SSS - Thoughts on the Short Side Mid-Day on Friday November 11

Published : November 11 2011 at 13:20 ET

As far as the short side goes, there is really only one thought, and that is that it isn't working. The market is erratic, at best, and QE may become the impossible force here. In our view there is no need to linger on the short side too long if things aren't working. AAPL is up a measly .38% but could rally up to the 50-dma at 395, while AMZN is still feeding off positive Kindle-related news. Not a lot of traction here, and the market environment is doing its best to make things as confusing as possible.
