Major averages finished about breakeven on higher volume. The S&P 500 managed to close once again at all time highs, but did so reluctantly. After hours, futures were lower after AMZN stock plunged more than 10% after a weak earnings report.
Electronics parts manufacturer Proto Labs (PRLB) had a pocket pivot/breakout yesterday from the handle portion of its 8 month base after a strong earnings report. Earnings and sales are accelerating, pretax margin 33.7%.
Apparel company Skechers USA (SKX) had a buyable gap up yesterday on a strong earnings report. The intraday low of the BGU is 50.77. Earnings are soaring, sales are accelerating, group rank 63.
Facebook (FB) had a buyable gap-up move yesterday following a strong earnings report on Wednesday. The BGU intraday low is 74.51.
