The following is a list of books that I felt deserved mention. In terms of the Top 50 list, these are books that helped broaden or deepen my understanding of how markets function, helped me understand my own personal investment psychology as a trader, or helped further develop and fine-tune my investment methodology. The number next to each title is its rank (on a scale of 1 to 10) in terms of quality and relevance. In terms of the Top Non–Investment-Related Books list, these are books that helped me align my personal psychology, which helped pave the way to success. The copyright dates of books written before 1960 are in boldface. It is interesting to read books written in entirely different eras to understand that human nature has not changed. This is why a sound methodology can endure over decades if not centuries.
