In the DeFi (decentralized finance) space, XIO offers flash staking where people get their interest up front due to a lock up incentive (penalty if early withdrawal). This helps other projects get liquidity as people are more willing to invest capital knowing they will get a nice interest payment up front. This is a nice alternative to crowdfunding for early-stage blockchain startups.
