Major averages finished last Friday higher and near the top of their respective trading ranges on higher volume. The Dow Industrials was the only major index that finished lower though still in the upper half of its trading range.

Quantitative easing could continue to stay the course or further increase as more economic and political instability arises. Indeed, central banks continue to print en masse, thus even though the Dow Industrials comprise just 30 names, some which can be considered "old school", the Dow Industrials has become more significant than before with regard to global QE-based capital which is finding a home in big- to mega-cap US stocks.
