Major averages rose on mixed volume. The ECB's decision to further ease monetary conditions came as no surprise while risk-on markets including NASDAQ Composite and Russell 2000 rose the most.

Floating rate bonds are this year's U.S. Treasury maneuver to keep rates low. The bonds attract investors because even when rates start to rise, the interest rates on these bonds will automatically adjust. Thus the Fed has another tool in its bag of tricks to keep rates at unprecedented low levels for a prolonged period of time.

Now that UVXY model has reached a gain of 33.4% since its sell signal on May 13, some members may decide or have already started to take partial profits. There is nothing wrong with using the model's trading signals to take profits while trading around a core position.

Apple (AAPL) stock splits today at a 7:1 ratio. The stock has acted very well since its buyable gap-up move of April 24th. The stock has had roughly a 20% move since then.
