How are you calculating your returns in the tables in the results section?
The trades are done at the time the report is issued. The report is issued when the model switches signals.

Here are the values along with % gain or loss when buying TNA on a buy signal, shorting TNA on a sell signal, and moving to cash on a cash signal. Cash signals naturally are left blank as the returns are neither a gain or a loss by default (although there would be some small gain based on risk free money market returns). Prices are based on the time the report was issued. If the report was issued after the close, the closing price of that day was taken for sake of consistency. You will note that the model's fail safe typically limits losses:
