PPR - SLCA pocket

Published : December 20 2012 at 9:35 ET

As noted in today's Pulse, SLCA had a pocket pivot in yesterday's trade. Note, this name carries higher risk since it has never proven itself on a price basis. Our studies have shown that stocks should have at least doubled, then based before buying, unless the stock is a new IPO as such bases may be on the order of just weeks after which a buy point emerges. SLCA has been trading for nearly a year so would no longer qualify as a new IPO.
