FAQs Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I am interested in knowing more about the MDM service. Right now I have classic investment type strategy with a portfolio that has equities, bonds, international, some exposure to commodities. Plan for retirement type of view. Generally stayed away from speculation and marketing timing as I don't have the knowledge to do it right.
What I would like to do is perform beyond these markets indices that rise and fall in a herding effect.
What does the MDM service provide and how does it actually work? Do you provide a list of ETFs that I buy using my available capital from my preferred brokerage then add to my portfolio. Then you tell me when to get in and out of them?
What knowledge do I need to possess and how much time is necessary to achieve positive returns?
A: The Market Direction Model (MDM) is one of five services we provide. We make it simple for those investors who have little time or little knowledge of the markets. You receive real-time email updates whenever there is a change in the model's signal along with various ETF recommendations. You can also pull up prior MDM reports to give you a sense of how the service works here: https://www.virtueofselfishinvesting.com/reports
