Major averages rose on mixed volume with the S&P 500 achieving a closing all-time high. AAPL is expected to unveil its latest iPhone lineup today, which will reportedly feature the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus, and the much anticipated high-end iPhone X. The product event is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 pm ET.
The United Nations Security Council unanimously voted to impose new sanctions on North Korea last night, which may stir the geopolitical pot once again. Such sanctions imposed on NoKo are nothing and so far, with China backing them, have had little effect.
Focus List Notes:
Arista Networks (ANET) is holding tight aloing its 10-dma with volume drying up to -52%. Lower-risk entry here using the 20-dema as a selling guide.
GrubHub (GRUB) was added to the list yesterday after posting a pocket pivot at its 10-dma. This is actionable using the 10-dma as a selling guide.
Snap (SNAP) held support at the 10-dma and remains actionable using the 50-dma as a selling guide.
Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) closed at its 10-dma which puts it in a lower-risk entry position using the 10-dma as a selling guide.
