Major market indexes failed to follow-through on Tuesday's follow-through day, pulling back on lighter volume as fears of an impending U.S. missile strike on Syria held sway. The follow-through day remains in effect, but the broader issue is where new leadership can be found as most stocks are moving up from the lower regions of their current chart patterns.
Futures are higher on news a tweet from Trump sounded less aggressive towards Syria: “Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all!” Much of Wednesday's drop in the markets was due to fears about an attack on Syria when Trump tweeted: "Get ready, Russia."
Focus List Notes:
FTNT was hit with an analyst downgrade yesterday, but managed to hold its 10-dma. Watch for the stock to stabilize along the 10-dma as volume declines.
