Major averages closed mixed on slightly higher but well below average volume. The number of actionable stocks remains relatively muted despite the sharp bounce, calling into question the sustainability of the current rally. Nevertheless, the overall trend is up. Futures are currently trading higher.
Apple (AAPL) had a continuation pocket pivot yesterday though in context with its chart, it could be considered slightly extended so caution is advised.
Chinese online platform provider YY, Inc. (YY) had a pocket pivot after a strong earnings report but then had a slightly lower, midbar close, a sign of weakness. One could either elect to sell at the close, or keep their stops very tight from here should YY encounter further weakness.
CyberArk Software (CYBR) is gapping up this morning after beating handily on earnings last night after the close. We will be monitoring this for a possible buyable gap-up once the market opens.
ReWalk Robotics (RWLK) came out with earnings this morning before the open and posted numbers below estimates, but the stock is gapping up above the 30 price level in pre-open trade. We are monitoring this for a possible buy signal this morning once the market opens.
