PCLN is breaking out of a 1 year base. Slower names have been often outperforming in this environment as they often have shallower pullbacks. The last time PCLN broke out of along base was in early 2012, after which it had a good move.
EQIX cleared its 50-dma and is having another pocket pivot today. Earnings have accelerated to triple digit percentages, with the last two quarters up 190% and 177%.
Both stocks had prior gap ups, a bullish sign.
