Yesterday we received some emails wondering why we were not identifying the alleged pocket pivot buy points in solar stocks, which were allegedly rising up to assume leadership from the cloud-computing stocks. Today note the high-volume reversals in these stocks from FSLR and JKS to TSL to LDK and SOL and everything in-between. When mostly cheap laggard stocks like these are rallying, our tendency is to see this more as a sign of the "dogs barking." The action in these stocks today also validates, in our minds, the reason why we think there is no optimal window open for making money currently, and patience is a virtue here. In fact, we might even get cute by saying patience is a virtue - a virtue of selfish investing! ;-)
