Any initial short positions taken yesterday in any of the target stocks, AMZN, BIDU, and CRM, are within 3-5% max stop-out levels. With central banks around the globe announcing another version of QE this morning, the futures are up sharply and precious metals are advancing as well. Testing a rally on the short side can result in being stopped out, it is foolish to engage in short-selling if you do not understand this - if your stops are hit cover your positions, end of story.
The big question perhaps is whether continuous QE eventually results in hyper-inflation as people run out of paper currencies in the realization that limitless supplies of paper can only, over time, cause that paper to trend toward its intrinsic value, but the best course of action is to simply take your stops at face value, without trying to strain your brain running through the intellectualized permutations.
